Dr. Jennifer L. Volpe, DO

Founder & Medical Director, Good Gene Medical

Dr. Jennifer L. Volpe spent nearly two decades in emergency medicine — at Metropolitan Hospital, Westchester Medical Center, and across some of the most demanding clinical environments in the Northeast. She served as chief resident. She stabilized the unstable. She intervened at the moment of crisis.

And she saw a pattern that could not be ignored.

Heart attacks that could have been predicted. Strokes that left clues years before they struck. Advanced conditions that declared themselves only after the window for prevention had closed.

Good Gene Medical was born from that recognition. Dr. Volpe did not leave emergency medicine because she lost faith in it. She left because she understood that the most powerful medicine happens before the emergency room door ever opens.

A Longevity Philosophy Rooted in Precision

Dr. Volpe does not practice longevity medicine as a trend. She practices it as a discipline — grounded in biochemistry, informed by two decades of clinical pattern recognition, and guided by the same physicians and researchers shaping the future of the field.

Her acceptance into Dr. David Lu's founding cohort of longevity physicians reflects her commitment to the most rigorous, evidence-based approaches in the specialty. Her alignment with Dr. Peter Attia's performance-driven longevity framework shapes how she interprets data, designs interventions, and measures progress.

Good Gene Medical is not a franchise or a multi-provider practice. It is a single-physician institute. Every client works directly with Dr. Volpe — every consultation, every diagnostic review, every strategic decision.

Before Good Gene

Dr. Volpe co-founded Good Vibe Medical, a multidisciplinary integrative practice in Chester, NJ. Services included hormone replacement therapy, IV infusions including NAD+ and Myer's cocktails, estrogen and testosterone therapies, pelvic-floor rehabilitation, and aesthetic wellness.

That experience laid the foundation for Good Gene — deepening her understanding of hormonal optimization, nutritional science, and the intersection of functional medicine with proactive health strategy.

Beyond the Practice

Dr. Volpe is a devoted wife and mother. She is deeply committed to advocating for rare disease research — raising awareness, supporting affected families, and championing advancements that expand the frontier of medical knowledge.

Her advocacy reflects the same principle that defines Good Gene Medical: the belief that medicine should move forward, not merely respond.

Longevity medicine is not a set of tests. It is interpretation. It is judgment. It is the ability to see patterns across systems, connect data points that others overlook, and design strategies that evolve with your biology.

Dr. Volpe brings nearly twenty years of acute clinical decision-making to a discipline that demands exactly that — the ability to read complexity, act with precision, and remain accountable to one client at a time.

Good Gene Medical exists because she believes you deserve a physician who sees the full picture. Not a fragment. Not a snapshot. The architecture of your health — past, present, and decades forward.
